Sun Hung Kai Properties – Kwoks’ Foundation Law Scholarship supports Mainland talents to study

June 2010

Through a generous donation of HK$2.52 million from the Sun Hung Kai Properties – Kwoks’ Foundation Limited (the Foundation), the “Sun Hung Kai Properties – Kwoks’ Foundation Law Scholarship” was established in 2009 to attract talents from the Chinese Mainland to study for a Master of Common Law and Master of Laws full-time at the University. The Scholarship provides access for promising legal personnel from the Mainland to first-class common law training which may facilitate legal and judicial modernisation in China.

At the Graduation Reception and Scholarship Award Ceremony held on June 9, Ms Amy Kwok, Executive Director of the Foundation, presented the awards to thirteen scholarship awardees in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

The Foundation believes that education is the cradle for nurturing future leaders of the country and has supported the nation’s educational development for many years.
